School 42

Thanks to its revolutionary educational program, 42 students have the unique opportunity to begin with zero knowledge in the field and become skilled programming professionals.

42 was founded in France in 2013. Its curriculum is based on the peer-to-peer model, in which students tackle real-world problems, apply practical solutions to engaging projects, and manage their own educational paths while working completely on their own. Using this method, over 95% of the center’s graduates have gone on to find high-paying jobs in the industry, from Rio de Janeiro to Helsinki and Seoul. There are currently more than 40 centers around the world. 42 Yerevan joined the network in 2020 with the mission of providing highly qualified specialists for Armenia’s burgeoning programming industry.

The EU TUMO Convergence Center

42 Yerevan is one of the primary educational components of TUMO Labs, the educational program of the the EU TUMO Convergence Center for Engineering and Applied Sciences. The center is a state of the art STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) ecosystem in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan. A nexus for research, education, and startups, the center aims to bridge the gap between local and international industry while providing a link between higher education and business in Armenia. Encompassing 25,000 sq.m., the 1.5 hectare hub will lie adjacent to the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies.

The center will function as an open platform for collaboration, with infrastructure for educational programs, STEM research laboratories, and conference rooms.
